C. Ian Ross
Mr. Ross is currently the Chair of the Board and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Growthworks Canadian Fund Ltd. and the Chair of the Independent Review Committee for the mutual fund assets of Tangerine Bank. Mr. Ross has previously served as Chair of the Board and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Partners Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Ross is also a former Chair of the Board of Menu Foods Income Trust and former Chair of the Board of Pet Valu Canada Inc. Mr. Ross has also served as a director of numerous other public and private companies, including Ontario Power Generation Inc. Mr. Ross is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Milewski has spent his career in various aspects of the mining industry, including as a company director, advisor, founder and investor. In particular, he has been active in the battery metals industry including investing in cobalt and actively trading physical cobalt. In 2016, one of the industry’s leading publications, “The Mining Journal,” named him as a Future Mining Leader.
In 2017, Anthony accepted an invitation from the London Metals Exchange to join the LME Cobalt Committee which includes representatives from the largest mining and commodities companies globally to represent the interests of the industry to the board of directors the LME.
Mr. Milewski has managed numerous mining investments at various stages of development, including exploration, development, production and turnaround situations, and across a broad range of commodities. With the June 2018 close of Nickel 28’s A$10 million equity investment in Highlands Pacific for resulting ownership of 13%, Mr. Milewski was appointed to the Board of Directors of Highlands Pacific. He has also served as a director of both public and private companies and has been seconded as interim CEO on multiple occasions. Mr. Milewski was a member of the investment team at Pala Investments Limited. Prior to joining Pala Investments, he worked at Firebird Management LLC.
Mr. Milewski previously worked at Renaissance Capital and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Moscow, where he focused on advisory and transactional work in metals & mining and oil & gas sectors. He has lived and worked in Africa and Russia, including a year as a Fulbright scholar, and has spent considerable time in Central Asia.
Mr. Milewski holds a B.A. in Russian history from Brigham Young University, an M.A. in Russian and Central Asian Studies from the University of Washington, and a J.D. from the University of Washington. He holds an LLM from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Mr. Swan is a lawyer and recently retired as a partner at Stikeman Elliott LLP. Mr. Swan practised corporate law at Stikeman Elliott LLP for over 24 years with wide ranging experience, including extensive work in debt capital markets, securitization, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions, and with a particular focus on transactions in the global mining and metals sector. During his years of practice, Mr. Swan earned leading lawyer accolades from publications including Lexpert, International Finance & Law Review, Who's Who Legal and Best Lawyers.
Edward (Ned) Collery
Mr. Collery has over a decade of experience in investing in the natural resources and mining space. Mr. Collery is the founder and President of Pelham Investment Partners LP, a private investment partnership and a significant shareholder of the Company. Prior to founding Pelham Investment Partners LP, Mr. Collery worked as a research analyst and partner in the investment management industry. Mr. Collery holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University with a minor in Financial Economics.
Brett A. Richards
Mr. Richards is an experienced and accomplished natural resources executive and corporate director with over 37 years of experience in senior and operational management, project development and corporate business development in the mining and metals industry. Mr. Richards is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of TSX-V listed Goldshore Resources Inc. Mr. Richards is also a director and Chair of the board of Banro Corporation Ltd.
Christopher S. Wallace
Mr. Wallace is Managing Director of CCC Investment Banking, a mid-market investment bank that is involved in mergers and acquisitions, financings, valuations and provides fairness and expert opinions. Mr. Wallace is an experienced corporate director and currently sits on the board of GoviEx Uranium Inc., the fifth largest publicly-traded uranium company by resource size in the world. Mr. Wallace also serves as Chair of the audit committee and as a member of the human resources and compensation committee of the board of GoviEx Uranium Inc.
